Holland/Jones Cemetery

Christian County, Missouri

Hello, my name is Larry Boyd. Back in the 1980's, my father William R. Boyd and myself traveled to Christian County to try to find this cemetery. I wish I could remember the name of the person who had to show us how to get there was, but her name escapes me now. But, she took us directly to it, just off 125 in Linden. We had to drive between a house and a barn then walk through high brush to find it. We took pictures of the stones there and took down the information. I will post the pictures soon to this page. If you have and questions about this site, please send me an email by clicking on my name that follows; Larry Boyd

Holland-Jones Cemetery was once known as the "Old Linden" Cemetery

I want to thank Allen Suiter and all the guys from Boy Scout Troop 201 in Ozark, Missouri for cleaning up the cemetery for me. Above is a picture taken in May 2005 of the cemetery. You can see outside the fence of the growth around it and how the cemetery once looked. The large stone you see in the picture was down on the ground. This stoned weighed over 500 pounds. What a great job they did!!
