William Riley Boyd

William R. Boyd born on 5 Apr 1850 in Hartville, Wright County, Missouri. He died on 22 Feb 1911 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri. He was buried in Oddfellow Cemetery, Ozark, Missouri.

Was a Deputy Sheriff hired by his brother-in-law Sheriff Zach Johnson during the Bald Knobber's trial and hanging. Was also a Public Administrator for Ozark, Missouri during the early 1900's.

Though born in Hartville, Missouri, in the late 1850s his parents and family moved to Huntsville, Arkansas and then in the early 1860's they moved to Ozark, Missouri.

Married 1st 8 Apr 1877 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri Martha F. Marley had 5 children: Everett Boyd, Goldie Boyd, Evalina Boyd, Beulah Boyd and Francis Boyd. Click here to view their family.

Married 2nd 31 Dec 1890 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri Mary Ann Holland daughter of Jasper Holland and Martha Roller.

9. Mary Ann HOLLAND was born on 2 Aug 1871 in Linden, Christian County, Missouri. She remarried after William died, Higdon Richard Jarret (Joe) Phillips and moved to California. No issue from 2nd marriage. She died on 27 Jun 1948 in Ontario, San Bernardino County, California. Buried Bellevue Mausoleum Ontario, California. Issue 10 Children:	Mary Ann Holland

i. Iva Alice BOYD was born on 1 Oct 1891 in Ozark, Missouri. Married (1) Richard W. Fowler, (2)Howard Thompson. She died on 30 Nov 1974 in Ozark, Missouri. She was buried in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark, Missouri. Issue 2Children;

	Mutt Thompson
	Betty Jo Thompson.

4 ii. Samuel Newton BOYD. born on 21 Jan 1893 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri. He died on 7 Oct 1953 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri. He was buried in Ozark, Missouri, Hopedale Cemetery. He was married to Lena Lucy PORTER in 1912 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri. Issue 5 children:
