Thomas Boyd, Dnus de Kylmornowe died 7 Jul 1432 Scotland. Acted as hostage for King James I, who had been held prisoner for 19 years. Thomas was held in England from 1424-1426. The King was released on the promise of the Scots to pay a ransom of 40,000 pounds. The payment was never made. The King wasted the money raised for the hostage release. He married;
Joanna Montgomery of Ardrossan. Daughter of John Montgomery. Children were;
i. Sir Thomas Boyd. Died 9 Jul 1439 Scotland. Married Lady
Isabel.
