256. Honorable Captain James BOYD  was born about 1666 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. He died in Knockavaddy Rock, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Was a soldier of fortune. He moved from Scotland to Giant's Causway, Northern Ireland then settled in Knockavaddy Rock. Probably moved cause his eldest brother would inherit the royalty and also to be with his company regiment. AFN:83VP-GG RLDS CHURCH Children were:

James landed in Boston, and settled in the town of York, in York Co. in what is now the state of Maine. Married Margaret Whitten. 5 children:
