32. William R. BOYD was born about 1785 in Knockavaddy Rock, County Tyrone, Ireland. He immigrated in March 1795 to Charleston, Charleston County, South Carolina. He died in July 1855 in Lumpkin County, Georgia. He was married to (1) Elizabeth BURTON about 1816 in Laurens Co., South Carolina. Married (2) Unknown about 1828.
33. Elizabeth BURTON was born about 1798 in Laurens Co., South Carolina. She died in 1826 in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia. Children were:

Unknown We do not know the name of his second wife at this time. They had two Daughters.

child16 ii. Samuel N. BOYD born 1818 Hall County, GA. Married Priscilla Wood 8 May 1842 in Forsyth County, GA. Moved to Hartville, Wright County, MO about 1845-6. Moved to Huntsville, Arkansas about 1858 then to Ozark, Missouri about 1864. Died 1909 in Ozark, Missouri. 7 children:

Served as state senator. Served as private during the Seminole Indian wars. Served as Colonel in the CSA. He died on 10 Nov 1893 in Dahlonega, Lumpkin Co., Georgia. He was buried in Dahlonega, Lumpkin Co., Georgia. He married Sarah Jane Sitton. 8 children:
