William Boyd and Margaret Lyons Family

William BOYD was born in 1747 in Knockavaddy, Parrish of Desertcreat, Electoral District of Rock, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. He immigrated on 31 Oct 1804 to Charleston, South Carolina. Came over on the "Lady Washington" with two daughters and two sons. James, John, Jane N., and Margaret. Elizabeth and William Jr. stayed in Ireland, or moved or migrated to USA at some other time. Married (1)Margaret Lyons. He died in South Carolina. Most of the children married and moved to southern Illinois.

Margaret Lyons died 1832. Issue 7 children:
